What we recommend you do is do an accelerated chart replay with this study on the chart, and submit an order, to create position and then close that position with Flatten. The study will show at the time you close the position, the same Profit/Loss value you will see on the Trade Window DPL field.

You do not have the right Trade Account selected. Notice how position is not even showing when you are trading at the market. There is a rejection which you are not seeing which is logged in the Trade >> Trade Service Log. You must select a simulated trading account like Sim1. hi so basically in sim mode trade positions and trade account wont populate? instead i need to use the trade activity log and the following tabs to keep track of open positions and pnl: trades and chart stats ? secondly, is it possible to configure what columns i want to view in the trades and chart stats tabs within the trade activity log? lastly, a friend told me that if data/trade service settings was set to trading evaluator, then that would function like a live account but in sim mode. why then cant one use that option when running a playback to get results to display in trade positions and trade account pls ? thanks! |

Regarding post #9, this is comprehensively explained here: Trade Simulation: Viewing Positions and Current Profit/Loss secondly, is it possible to configure what columns i want to view in the trades and chart stats tabs within the trade activity log? The columns can be reordered and you can change the width:Trade Activity Log: Column Widths and Font The columns can be reordered by left clicking on the header lines and dragging them left or right. The Trading Evaluator service has no integration with a chart replay on the users installation of Sierra Chart: why then cant one use that option when running a playback to get results to display in trade positions and trade account pls ?
