Just wondering what the best method is for inverting a symbol in a long string, for example 1/US30 * 1/SPX500 * XAUUSD * 1/NAS100 I have checked the documentation especially point 6 which leads to Working with Spreadsheets: Arithmetic Operators But just require some more clarification as my outputs seem to differ, causing me to believe the " ^-1 " being negative could be problematic. It should work. The Custom Calculated Symbols use the same calculations as the Spreadsheets do, and the Spreadsheets can handle a negative exponent. What is the difference you see? Ah, I think I had disk issues which caused the errors. Negative exponents tested and works fine. Just to clarify, brackets are used just fine also right? 1/{US30}*{XAUUSD}/(1/{NAS100}) would work like 1/{US30}*{XAUUSD}*/{NAS100}^-1 |

Parentheses can be used with the custom symbols.
