Simultaneous SIM Accounts Not Filling Working Orders

Hello,

I'm wanting to use 2 SIM accounts (and eventually live accounts) to have long and short positions open on the same instrument simultaneously. I'm currently able to get the orders to work fine on two different SIM accounts, but I've noticed an odd bug where if I'm on Account A (as selected in the trading window) and one of the active orders in Account B is hit, it doesn't actually fill until I manually select Account B, in which case it doesn't necessarily fill at the correct level (ie if the price has moved beyond the limit TP order, then the order is filled at current market price instead of the designated limit price) - and same for stop-losses.

Is this a function of SIM accounts only? Or is it that I need to install a second instance of SC in order to get both accounts to process orders simultaneously?

Thanks very much!

This is explained here:
Trade Simulation: Why Fill and Order Prices Can Be Wrong or Unexpected /
Orders Do Not Fill When Expected

You are going to need separate charts. One for each account. This is Trade Simulation specific.

It will not happen with the trading evaluator:

Hi I would like to trade in a sim mode but am not able to do so. I am not getting the option to tick "Trade Simulation mode on"
I have followed all the instructions here Simulated Futures Trading Service but this has not helped.
I have also installed a second charting software

Do you mean you do not see the command Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On on the main Sierra Chart menu?

When your service is set to one of the "Trading Evaluators" you can not go into "sim" mode, as the Trading Evaluator is already a simulation.

If you do not want to use the Trading Evaluator for your Simulation Trading, then you would need to change your Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service to SC Data - All Services.

You will then be able to enable the option for Trade >> Simulation Mode On and use the built-in simulation mode.
