Hello, for some reason my time and sales highlighting does not match up with my mentors and other people in my trading group. We have highlighting for below bid and above ask. For some reason, the "below bid" highlights are exactly the same, but the "above ask" highlighting is COMPLETELY off from theirs. My T&S is completely littered with the above ask highlight while theirs is not. But the below bid is matched up perfectly. We all have the same broker and same data feed. I checked to see if i was accidentally highlighting something else with the same color, but no, there is nothing else that is using the same color. Any idea why this would be happening?? |

Wanted to post a screen shot of what I am talking about. My time and sales is on the left, his is on the right. As you can see, my above ask highlight is going off constantly while his is not highlighting at all. And again, this is only for the above ask. The below bid matches up perfectly.

The volumes are different, so there is something different between your data. You need to figure out what that is. Make sure the settings are the same, particularly with regards to the Combining of the trades and also the filtering. Refer to the following: Time and Sales Window: Settings Menu For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The volumes aren't different on our time and sales. They are just listed in a different order for the same time. But they are all accurate. And for the settings, we have it set exactly the same. "Do not combine" records and show all volume above 5 contracts. Again, I would understand if some setting was off if the below bid was way off as well. But the below bid matches up perfectly. Is there anything else that it could be? |

We cannot help at all with this. You are using the Rithmic data feed. Refer to: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Rithmic Market Data and Support Policy For consistency use the Denali Exchange Data Feed as explained in the link above. Also, an order cannot execute above the ask price or below the bid price. If any data feed is showing that, it just has to do with how the exchange is transmitting data. The problem is likely due to incorrect market depth data from Rithmic. Causing overlapping levels between the bid and ask side.
