I facing difficulty of searching for a specific stock in FS screen if I don't know what is the ticker. For the moment, I used Thomson Reuters search for the company name, after get the ticker then come back SierraChart FS screen try for the ticker, if can't, I try Yahoo Finance again then try FS again. For fast solution, is it possible make FS able search by name, let say I type Genting, FS just list all asset related to the name Genting, ie, bond, option, warrant, indies & market statistics in different exchange. It will be better if adding a filter function at column header, user can pre-tick which exchange, asset class they need before the search, just like auto filter function in Excel. After we close the FS screen, please remain the previous search critirea and position, so that user can continue from where they left previously when open FS screen again. |

In the current version, the Find Symbol Window can now do a search of symbol descriptions for the TeleTrader service. In the lower right of the window is a new button Search By Desc. You can select an exchange, enter search text, and use this button to do simple searches.
