Not sure if this is obvious for anyone else. But here is some info that may help spare your request from being denied. First and foremost, your requests will be denied if you traded using CQG and/or carry any open positions the same day you submit your request. 1) If you have open positions, you cannot make the switch 2) If you traded CQG the day you want to submit your request, you must wait until AFTER 4PM Central (Chicago time) or it will also be denied Finally, to make the switch Go to: https://www.ampclientportal.com Trade Desk->Live Trading Setup Requests->New Live Trading Setup Request Request Type - Existing Setup - Reactivate/Update/Change Datafeed Under Which Datafeed - Choose Sierra Teton (Order Routing) Provide your Sierra Account Name/UserName [Submit] I assume this is the same for everyone on AMP, If not, my apologies. This is the process that shows up for me as an AMP Sierra/Denali/CQG user. I am of course NOT AMP support so can't answer any questions regarding the setup. Best to reach out to them. However, they provided me the info regarding needing to wait until after 4PM Central to submit the request which wasn't clear to me. I probably missed it if it was too obvious :) |
