Hi guys, I remember seeing you answer this elsewhere on the board but I can't find it again. When I import fills they are showing up an hour ahead. The times on my chart equal the correct time. What setting am I missing? Thanks |

Make sure that when you Export the information from the Trade Activity Log that you are using the option for "File >> Export". When you do this, the order fills times are set to Greenwich Mean Time, and therefore when importing them they will update to the proper time zone.

These fills are from another trading software program and I am formatting them appropriately, then Importing. (As per post #15 here: Saved Trade Activity Log import problem The date is correct in the excel right before Import but then pops forward an hour once Imported. Any ideas? Time in the trading log should be UTC, which has the same geological location as GMT, without Daylight Saving. That might cause your issue.

Thank you Tony - you are correct, I specified it incorrectly as GMT.

Thanks for the replies though I am still unsure. I have attached two screenshots to show what happens when I switch back from UTC+1 to UTC. The time axis corrects but my fills don't. I know I can fix this manually by changing the time back 1 hour on each trade before I Import into the Trade Log but checking if there is a setting solution first? |

The fills must have a timestamp of UTC when you are using the Trade Activity import function. They must have the correct time stamp. There is no way to correct them subsequently by adjusting the time zone.
