Hi, 1. After I change the symbol to Micro Crude, I still see the previous symbol (standard crude) getting displayed next to it. What does it mean? How can I change so it doesnt display the previous one. 2. When I sim trade in replay I see the previous symbol gets traded, not the current. Can you please advise. Thank you! |

There are two symbol entries on the Chart Settings window. They are the following: - Symbol - Trade and Current Quote Symbol The way you have your chart setup, your Symbol is MCLK23_FUT_CME and your Trade symbol is CLK23_FUT_CME. So you are going to be viewing the chart for MCLK23, but trading CLK23. Refer to the information for these two items starting at the following: Chart Settings: Symbol (text box) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu) Unless you specifically want the above type of setup, you should not be using the [q]Trade and Current Quote Symbol[/b], but rather just change the Symbol entry. Hi all, I need an advice regarding charting some emini but trading its micro little brother. Why would I do that? I got this recommendation and I need to understand why. Thank you! |

The reason you would do this is because you will have a more complete chart using the emini symbol. But there is less margin and risk involved in trading the micro contract.
