I have an existing trading account with IB. My current data service is set to SC Data. Am I able to keep SC Data and enable system for trading in my IB account (I would think Sierra needs to connect to IB's API and I'd prefer to have SC Data over IB's data)?

This is not a problem. Refer to the following for more information: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services If you have not already done so, follow the instructions at the following link to connect your Sierra Chart to IB: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks for the reply, but the instructions don’t completely make sense. I want to use SC data for price feeds AND be able to execute trades in my IB account from within Sierra. So if I toggle in the Data Service Settings between SC & Interactive Brokers, that will determine where my data is coming from. How do I pull data from one source while maintaining connectivity to IB?

Sierra Chart is specifically setup to do this with our own data. You need to set your Data/Trade Service Settings to connect to your IB account (per these instructions: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions), and then, as long as you have the setting for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds set to Yes, then you will be getting the real-time data from our Denali feed for those exchanges that you have activated, and any other data would come from IB. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

If Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is set to Yes, then why does SC prompt me to translate symbols when I toggle current service to Interactive Brokers?

your response doesn't directly address my question. I want to be sure that I'm using Denali data when connected to IB API. How can I verify that?
