Hi, I used to use Sierra Chart couple of years ago and Reversal Bars seemed to work perfectly. I'm now back at Sierra Chart and tried to load a GC chart with Reversal Bars and either the logic is totally changed or it's not printing correctly. I've attached a screenshot, you'll see there are a lot or bars without the correct amount of reversal from the High or the Low. My understanding from the reversal bar is, if the price makes an X tick reversal from its High or Low then the bar should close and a new bar should start forming. Could you please check the screenshot and let me know if this is the expected output? Thanks M |

Hi, thanks for looking into this. I followed all the steps, still seeing the same results. Attaching a screenshot with setting and log window details as well. Could you please send a screenshot of how GCM23 should look like for 31st of March with Reversal bar 20-0? thanks M |

The reversal bars are definitely correct if using tick by tick data. It is important to understand how they work and they are documented here: Chart Settings: Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type >> Reversal Bar (in ticks) (ReversalAmount - MinimumLength) We will see about adding a new indication to the Tool Values window indicating if the reversal bar is an up bar or down bar.
