CQG Data Switching to Different Bar Period During Overnight Hours

I explicitly use a tick chart and for some reason when using CQG my bar period will change from a tick chart to a 5-minute chart once my evening session begins. It remains as a 5-minute chart until the next day session begins. Is there any way to fix this to be a tick chart at all times including the evening session?

You would have to ask CQG why they are sending the data at that time in 5 minute increments instead of every tick. The better solution is to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed for your data. Keep in mind that if there is no trading, then new bars are not created, so it's possible that what you are seeing is just a lack of trading during those times.
