Hi ive been using the number bars and im wondering if there could be an update to this study I think it would be beneficial if the 'volume profile bar length relative to all visible bars' setting could be endabled/disabled for each column separately. I currently have my number bars set to see the volume profile in column 1, the contracts traded in column 2, and the delta in column 3. Id like to have column 1 show absorption (so the setting is turned to yes), but doing so makes the delta side basically flat and hard to see at times. So i have to keep flipping that setting to no Ive tried doing the two of the same studies, but when i turn the background coloring method to 'none - transparent' on column 1 in study 2, it doesnt keep the space of column 1 and the studies dont line up and looks sloppy mia |

You can do it with two different copies of the study, but you do not set the Background Coloring for Column 1 to "None" in the second copy. Rather, you have to make it exactly the same as the first copy of the Numbers Bars. Then you can get the second and third columns to show the way you want in the second copy of the Numbers Bars.

thank you for the reply i gave it a go and it didnt work the way id like 1-yes = 1 chart study with setting to yes | i want this one for the left side (volume profile for all bars showing so then i can see absorption, so some bars may be flat on left side(thats ok)) 1-no = 1 chart study with setting to no | i want this one for the right side (delta volume profile for each bar, want each bars' profile to extend all the way to max) 2 = study 1 (yes) study 2 (no) . it basically just looks like the 1-no where it calculates each bar individually hope that makes sense |

Sorry, we did miss a few items that we did not think about. Haven't done this in awhile. What you will have to do is to make sure that both copies of the Numbers Bars are basically the same, so they need to have the same number of columns with the same setups in each. But, for the coloring of the bars in the one where you only wanted to see the first column, you will have to change the colors to be the same as the background for the other columns (to make them disappear). And then make sure that the other Numbers Bars study is lower in the list of studies to ensure that it is drawn after the one with the background coloring.
