Hello Sierra Engineering,

Is there a way to make chartbooks compatible/portable between the x64 and ARM64 Sierra Chart versions?

Currently, chartbooks give a function not found error when a chartbook is using OrderFlowLabs.com_64.dll on x64, and then when opened in ARM64 the chartbook is not automatically looking for/using the OrderFlowLabs.com_ARM64.dll file.

Can Sierra Chart be platform agnostic, so it looks for OrderFlowLabs.com_***.dll?

This would be a big win for people migrating/using either platform, both platforms, or moving from x64 virtualization on a Mac M1 to the Sierra Chart for ARM64 on Windows for ARM64 for a native experience.

Thank you.

They absolutely are:

But we see the issue with the DLL suffix and we will resolve that.

That is great news!

I have been testing the ARM64 build running in virtualization on a Mac, and the stability and performance have been so much better than emulating x64 on the same setup. The only pain point has been with the DLL suffix, as I then needed to rebuild my chartbooks using the same studies but from the ARM64 dll. The fact that all the other configuration seamlessly moves over has been wonderful.

Thank y'all so much for the great work!

Hello Sierra Engineering,
Was this issue fixed in v2488?

What are Sierra's plans for ARM64? Will Sierra be building and releasing x64 and ARM64 at the same time and maintaining parity with the releases? I am showing x64 as March 29 (v2488) and ARM64 as Jan 6 (v2462).

It also seems that this will cause issues for building studies since the latest headers will not match the latest build (of ARM64) making building for both platforms simultaneously problematic.

Appreciate all the insights you have here. Thank you.
