I'm trying to get correct initial balance to print on Range chart which I understand is not accurate to time based chart. Is there a way to reference those levels from a time chart and have them print correctly on the range chart?

Yes, you can do this. How exactly do you want to view the initial Range on that chart (lines, value levels, something else)?

If you let us know how you want to view the information, then we can give you the instructions to set it up. Without that, then we are just guessing at what you want.

I use range charts but want the correct Initial Balance indicator to plot a line on the range chart that has the correct start and end time. Because Range charts do not allow for correct time based indicators to plot correctly my original question was how to get the correct Initial Balance lines to print on the Range chart?

Is there a way that the indicator can be directed from a time based chart. It can be developing levels like the curent indicator does OR if it's easier to have the 2 lines appear after the 1 hour high and low that is fine. I just need it to plotted based on the correct start and stop time.

Open a second chart for the same symbol and make it a time-based chart. The Bar Period needs to be a value that is evenly divisible into the Initial Balance timeframe you want (if you want a 1 hour Initial Balance, then you do not want to use 45 minute bars - they need to be 1, 10, 15, 30, etc.).

On the time-based chart, add the Initial Balance study and set it up as you want it. Refer to the following:
Initial Balance

Back on the Range chart, add the Study/Price Overlay study and set it to reference the Initial Balance on the other chart. The one thing to make sure you set is the Input for Bar Time Matching Method to Containing Match. Refer to the information for the Study/Price Overlay at the following link:
