Prior to posting this, I've read through this section (High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often) and I am not sure if it applies to my case.
I do not think it is a matter of high CPU usage.
Recently I added a new chartbook. Most of the charts are based on historical data on the larger time frame. I do not have many studies.
I typically have no more than 3 detached windows.

Upon start up, it is stuck on "Downloading data" with the blue status bar for a much longer time than usual (+30 seconds). Once it actually starts to "load" the charts, it does not take much longer than it had in the past. I've used multiple chartbooks before with even more windows that currently and did not have this issue.
Please let me know of any troubleshooting tips.

30 seconds it not necessarily a long time to download data, depending on how much needs to be done.

If you are not dealing with Futures, then you might want to consolidate older data so the files are not as large. Refer to the following:
Intraday Data File Management
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing
