Hi.. Sorry to ask this. But i'm in a sim environment with YMH23 and when i try to load a TPO study i got a message log that says "Service package doesn't support this function or account is expired..Select Help bla bla bla" I recently activate my account to a Service Pack 10. As always i'm missing something.. thanks in advance. |

The TPO profile is only available with the Advanced Packages. Refer to the information on the Integrated Packages at the following link: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages To change your package, follow these instructions: To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.

In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button. The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price. There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted. When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to. When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time. My bad. So if I change to pack number 5 I will got that and I can sim trade too? I'm no interested in real trading. I'm interested in sim trading, tpo, number bars, vpo etc.. |

Package 5 does include the TPO profile, and yes, you can continue to Sim trade with it, including using the Trading Evaluator service that we offer. Just be aware that you can not get real-time data with Package 5, nor can you connect to a trading service. The Base packages (3 and 5) are intended for training and getting used to Sierra Chart. You do have access to the Delayed Streaming Data for the CME Group, EUREX, CFE, and NASDAQ TotalView, which acts like real-time data, only is delayed by 10-15 minutes and is available at no extra cost. If these options work for you, then you should definitely change to Package 5 and save a few dollars each month. Thanks John. I'm not worried about the extra bucks if the sim environment has no difference. If you tell me that there is differences, eg; getting filled etc.. with one package or another, well, that is something to consider. But if not, i'm good with the cheap one. Thanks again.! |

As long as you were using the Delayed data previously, then there is no difference between the packages. If you are wanting more "realistic" order fills, then we recommend using our Simulated Futures Trading Service (if you are not already). Yes i'm using Simulated futures! My problem now is that in the TPO study I see Upper case letters and Lower case letter mixed in the display. How can I only see Upper case letter? Big thanxs. I found the answer, no need to answer me. Thanxs John!!! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-03-08 17:58:57
