For the past few days, maybe even a week or more, I have not been able to get SierraChart to show any market data for Bitstamp prior to 2014. I have several charts I've been using since mid-last year, and they suddenly stopped showing anything prior to 2014. Also, the BTC-e volume data is messed up for the PPC/USD pair, and non-existent for the BTC/USD pair. I've tried "Delete All Data and Download" several times, and have upgraded to the current version with no success. |

Refer to help topic 42.1 to get more historical Intraday data: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails42.html There is volume data for BTCUSD-BTCE. The could not be a problem with this. Use the Volume-Bitcoin study to see the volume. We will have to check on PPC/USD. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Here is a chart of PPCUSD-BTCE http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1402865625472.png It has the Volume-Bitcoin study. What is wrong specifically with the volume? The other issue you could be encountering with volume is that you do not have the Volume Value Format set correctly. Go to the chart and select Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2. What is the Volume Value Format set to? It will be easiest for us to understand the nature of the volume problem if you post an image of a chart you have a problem with by following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=PostingInformation.php#Image Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I have not touched my configuration for months. Everything was working fine, but suddenly stopped working properly within the past week or two. Increasing the number of days to download historical intraday data does not solve the problem. I also am aware of the Bitcoin-Volume study and have been using it since last year shortly after you implemented it. I will provide more details later to help you diagnose the issue; I don't have time at the moment. Thanks |
