When I am at home as I am right now, doing some preparation for tomorrow's trading day, I will mark up charts with some rectangles or horizontal lines. It would be convenient if I could transfer these objects via a file to my office computer where I trade, so I don't have to do any duplication of this work in the morning. Is there a way to do this, other than saving the chart in a chartbook and opening that chart on the other machine? Since I have various studies that link to other charts, and don't want to change the chart number, for example, doing it this way is not really a good option. I could write some code that does this but I was wondering if there is some built-in way to do it already, or some other file-level mechanism in SC that I can leverage through some additional work of my own to simplify the process. |

Chart drawings are contained only within Chartbooks. So you have to copy the Chartbook file. or some other file-level mechanism in SC that I can leverage through some additional work of my own to simplify the process. No. There is no documentation for the Chartbook file format and it gets complex when it comes to chart drawings.
