need help changing stop loss from stop limit to something else

i originally set up my sierra chart trade settings and stop losse orders when i was trading sim BEFORE i had connected to a broker.. now i want to change from stop limit order to something else BUT I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO CHANGE IT ON my chart trade i sent a message in the private message board for phone support, ill gladly pay for phone support, but im getting nowhere googling this and youtubing this.. ive had this issue before BUT never to this extent. thanks kyle |

To change the Attached Orders, go to the Trade Window for the chart on which you will be making the trades (if it is not already open for the chart, then select Trade >> Open Trade Window for Chart). Select the Targets tab at the top. Select the Stop that you already have entered. Then change this to what you want. Refer to the following for the instructions for this: Attached Orders: Using Attached Orders and Attached Order Settings -- If you are changing your Parent (primary) order, then on the the same Trade Window, on the Main tab, there is a selection box for the order type just below the checkbox for Use Attached Orders. Open that selection box and change your order type there. You may have to change the items below it, depending on what type of order you are selecting. yep ive done that BUT when i have a stop order it says Type: stop : stop NOT stop : stop limit YET i still see where there is a stop limit when i trade of about 4 points

That is because the CME Group changes stops to Stop-Limit. Refer to the following: Order Types: Stop Orders on the CME For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
