I have searched the board and the supplied documentation but I still have a couple questions. 1. When the P/L of a position is set to pts, what setting do I change to correct the P/L to correctly show pip quantity? What I mean is if I am trading a 1k lot, how do I show a 1 pip gain as 1.000 pips, instead of .1000 pips when trading EURUSD?. Conversely, what would I change to show a profit of 1.000 pips instead of 10.000 pips when trading USDJPY? 2. Is it possible to have the position P/L calculate based on the current bid price when long, and the ask price when short, instead of the spot price? Thanks again for your help. |

1. It sounds like you want to set the Position Profit/Loss format to Ticks-Ignore Quantity. This is set in Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings. Refer to: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#ProfitLossDisplay This will be the same no matter what currency you trade. 2. Thanks for your response. If I want it to factor in quantity though when trading multiple contracts, there is no way to manipulate the P/L pip values to reflect the size of the lot I am trading?

You can do that by changing the Profits/Loss format to Ticks. Refer to the documentation we linked to. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
