I tried to get thru this site and connect on my own, and it's a daunting task.... I seemed to be connected, I think my real trading acct is connected too.... But I'm getting delayed data. I don't know what step I overlooked or what needs to be done.... But I need help making sure I've done every thing right and ready to trade? Also, once connected to my real trading acct.... I want to connect to my Rythmic trading acct... Please help??? |

You have not connected to your trading account. What trading service or broker do you use for your trading? And when you reference a Rithmic account, is that a Prop firm account? I thought u accepted Transact futures (I was told by another trader), but now I know you dont....so waiting on my Edge Clear acct to be approved and going to connect to that. In addition to that, I want to connect with Rithmic....and yes its a prop firm.

We do not work with TransAct any longer. Since you are opening an account with Edge Clear, you will need to follow through the instructions at the following link to get connected: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions With regards to the Prop Firm, you will want to install a second Sierra Chart on the same computer and then connect that second copy to Rithmic. 100% of my trades will be with Rithmic, so Im just going to connect real acct once/mo and switch back to Rithmic. So once I initally set up my Edge Clear acct....how do I switch back & forth?

In this case, you would just change the Data/Trade Service Settings and in particular, you start by changing the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service and then select the A button to accept the entry for that field and then you will get the service specific entries that need to be filled in. I thought I was going to have an active acct by now, but "Clear Edge" is giving me the run around & acting like they dont have any idea what happened to my app with them from tues morning. There was a link on here that listed 2 brokers I could go with with a very small dep of like $1-200, but now I cant find it anywhere....I want to try the other broker listed. Can u send me that link or recommend any other brokers who will accept a small dep? |

I now have an account with Clear Edge, I re-did the Denali agreements and put my new acct # there & Ironbeam as clearing house. I then followed the directions from the link above for Teton Futures Ordering and got this error message.... "If you receive the connection error: Trade account not assigned, then this means that the trading account of yours has not been set up on this service." I saw this in the set-up directions, but it doesnt say what to do if you get that message....just says you may get this message!! So now what am I suppose to do?? Thx |

Check with Edge Clear and see if they have finished setting up your account for the Teton Order Routing Service. The message you are receiving means that they have not completed their work on this.

Ok, now my Sierra charts now say "Teton CME Order Routing", so I assume Im connected to Ironbeam/Edge Clear.....but my data still shows SIM/Delayed. What else is left to do now to get real live data?? |

SIGHS.....now I cant get trade allocation to work. I have a buddy who was showing me how, but my "order allocation" window isnt exactly the same as his & we trade the same service. Theres no accts in my "allocation accts" list, even tho I have 5 accts. And the last line, "Allocation trade acct multiplier" is greyed out & says "read only" & 0....his isnt greyed & says 1. This is so frustating not being able to talk to someone, to get this resolved in just a few min....I need HELP!!! |

Ok nvm again, sorry....he didnt know u had to click "add" twice. But just so Im clear, I switched the DOM to an acct that I dont have in the allocation list and entered the market, and it still copied that trade to the 3 accts I do have in the allocation list....is that what its supposed to do?? |

Ok, I tried a BO on the ES, and my DOM says Targets/Stops match, just trading 1 lot.....4.5 tgt, 5.5 stop. The trade hit my stop & traded twice, so instead of exiting, I was short 1....I have no idea why. When I click on the "targets" tab, both the target & stop say Qty = 1....so why did it go from long 1, to short 1 instead of just exiting?? Also, when I click on "trade Orders Window", even though I can see working orders on my Dom, theres nothing here if "show only working orders" is checked, why arent they shown if I see them on the Dom?? This would be sooo much simpler with phone support??? |

You need to look at the Trade Activity Log and see what the Fills are showing for this situation.
