Version 1115 Been emailing support at my backup provider about xxx.scid files not backing up to current prices. Run backup after Friday close once weekly. My backups always were reflecting as last data IB's "restart" or data connect/disconnect which happens daily at 9:30 pm PST, so Thursday nights data would show as "date modified" in my backup folder. When I check my data file, xxx.cht files are shown as date modified correctly mbut xxx.scid files are not. How do I check scid data if this is right or wrong? I don't want to learn anything about programming which your Table of Contents scid reference seemed to lead. Is this what SC wants reflected? How do I know that when I save data, my scid file is saved with latest data? |

You need to open one of those backup Intraday data files in Sierra Chart to see if the latest data is there? You will need to copy one of them into the Sierra Chart Data Files Folder they were copied from before opening it. We cannot help with your backup software. I checked one future-Nov beans and the time stamp and price reflected 00:34 on 6-6 from the backup folder. I'll try another this week and reflect results. Don't need help with my backup--just need to know if I have latest data when it says it does.

We see no reason when a file is copied, that it will not have the latest data when it is being updated by Sierra Chart with the latest trade.
