If we are understanding what you want, then set the following: - Column 1 Background Type: Full Background - Column 1 Background Coloring Method: Based on Volume - Actual Then set the Column 1 Actual Compare Thresholds to the values you want to differentiate by different colors. And then change the Column 1 Range 0-3 Up/Down Colors to what you want for the different volume values (note that the up/down colors are used based on whether it is an Up/Down bar, in this case). Refer to the information for the Numbers Bars at the following link: Numbers Bars For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi, Please find the attached image which explains what I am looking for. I want to highlight the whole body and extend the colour boundary to the end of chart based on the total volume occured during the formation of that bar. Please let me know how to do that |

There is no built-in automated method to do this. In order to have it automated, you would have to create a custom study. There is a way to create this manually for a specific bar, but we do not think that is what you want. If it is, then let us know and we can explain how to do this. Start at the following regarding Custom Studies: Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL): Introduction To manually create this, use two copies of the Horizontal Line at Time and set the Input Data for one of the studies to Open and the other to Close and set the time for both to the time of the bar. This will give you the two horizontal lines until the time specified in the studies. Refer to the following for the Horizontal Line at Time study: Horizontal Line at Time In order to get the coloring in between the lines, refer to the following: Chart Studies: Filling the Area Between Two Study Subgraphs within Different Studies For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
