Renaming a chart hangs Sierra Chart

Hi, I've had an issue for the past few months, whereby whenever I try to rename a chart (by right clicking on the tab), Siera Chart hangs for 5 to 10 minutes. During this 5 to 10 minutes I can not do anything with Sierra Chart. It is completely frozen. Eventually the rename box appears and I can rename the chart, and things go back to normal. This problem is unique to renaming a chart, no other function on Sierra Chart causes me any problems. Is this a known bug in SC? Thanks |

It is certainly not anything we have heard of. We just tried it ourselves and we are not having any problem with this. The first thing to do is to update to the latest release to ensure that this is not something that may not exist in a current version. Refer to the following for how to update your Sierra Chart: Software Download: Fast Update If you have the same issue in a current release, then we want you to try and make the change through the Chart Settings. To do this, go to Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display. The two settings on this page for this are the following: - Title Bar Name - Use Title Bar Name as Tab Label Enter the Title Bar Name and set "Use Title Bar Name as Tab Label" to "Yes". Let us know if you experience the same issue this way as you do with the right-click option on the tab.
