Hey sierrachart. Hope you can help, I’m currently trialling the software and intend to use it for order flow style of trading. Using the numbers bars study. My only issue is I usually trade from the daily timeframe. For some reason the data from all other time frames pulls through fine 1m, 5m, 1h etc but the daily time frame doesn’t seem to work. Can you please let me know why this is ? Perhaps my set up is incorrect ? Thank you |

You can not use the Numbers Bars with a Daily Historical Chart, as the data for these charts is just the daily Open/High/Low/Close/Volume. To do this you need to set the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Chart Data Type to Intraday Chart Only. Refer to the information here: Chart Settings: Chart Data Type (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Date Range and Limiting Method menu) Then when you ask for a 1 day chart, it will be built from the Intraday data, which will then allow your Numbers Bars to work properly.
