connection is active, but charts do not advance

price continues to be active, but all charts in chart book stop advancing. A chart book in "new instance" continues to be current.
I exit and reenter SC and charts boot as normal. "new instance" chart book remains active.

How to prevent this happening?

The most probable situation when this occurs is that the chart is not scrolled all the way to the most current bar, so you are not seeing it continue to develop. But refer to the following documentation for all of the possible reasons this could be occurring:

Thank you for your response, but none of these conditions seem to apply. All charts in the chartbook stop updating. Since price continues to update, "disconnect / connect to data feed" does not restore updating. It seems that closing and re-opening charts is the only remedy.

The only changes made since this began to occur (and it has occurred daily) have been to remove TOS from the open task list and to increase internet service from 100 to 500 Mbps. The notebook now shows download speeds of 200-300 Mbps.

I will continue to monitor the times of failure. It seems to be about 90 minutes after opening SC and 30 minutes into the session.

Since you are using Teton order routing it could be affected by this problem but the issue is resolved. However , a simple reconnect to the data feed is enough to resolve it.

I have now updated to 2478.
I am using both ESH23_FUT_CME and MESH23_FUT_CME symbols.
Updating stopped today at 12:34 CST, approx. 5 hours after boot up.

To confirm, you are noticing that the chart bars are not updating but the price box on the right side of the chart is updating?

To confirm, if you reconnect to the data feed does this restart updating of the chart bars?:

File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers

Go to the chart and select Edit >> Download Data From End of Chart. Does that restart chart bar updating?

yes, chart bars stop updating, but price continues to update. Disconnect / connect to data feed procedure does not restart chart bars.

I will try edit >> download data from end of chart at next occurrence.

There was no interruption in updating today.
