I want to load a previous day of TSLA and run a replay with simulation. Following the instructions isn't working for me.

You were on a "Standard Trial", which has limited symbols that you can use. We have switched your account to an "Activated Trial", so you have access to all symbols. Try going through the instructions again to get the data for TSLA-NQTV and see how it works for you. Note that you will want to use the symbol TSLA-NQTV in order to get the Delayed Streaming Data from our NASDAQ TotalView exchange. If you just enter TSLA then you will not have streaming data (the data will update every 20 minutes or so and will be delayed).
