I would like to add the price range of the initial balance to the price chart. Ideally a value that is displayed on the line for the initial balance high. I assume this is simple to do with the spreadsheet study but I don't know how to do it. The purpose is so that I can see at a glance the price range of the initial balance. If price has only completed 50% of the typical statistical range for the IB I can determine that there is possibly more movement to come. |

If you just want the value of the High line for the Initial Balance, then you can just use the Value Label for that line and display it in the Price Ladder. Refer to the information here: Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Name and Value Labels If you are wanting the Range of the Initial Balance, then there is not a way to display it like the above (associated specifically with the IB High line). But you can get it displayed in the chart. You would need to use the Study Subgraphs Subtract/Difference study to get the range of the IB by using the IB High and IB Low subgraphs. Refer to the following for this study: Study Subgraphs Subtract/Difference Then you can use the Text Display for Study to put the information where you want in the Graphics Area. Refer to the following: Text Display For Study For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
