Alert Manager pop up window not working

This recently stopped working and I haven't been able to fix it despite rereading the instructions. I typically use the Chart drawing alerts and set the conditions, and the Alerts Manager window would pop up, telling me what was triggered and I could go directly to that chart. Now I only get the flashing chart drawing when triggered and no alert window to tell me if it's in another chart I've loaded. I seem to have all the settings right; also just installed the latest version of SC. Please advise.

On the Drawing Alert, make sure the Alert Sound is set to a specific Alert number. Otherwise, if it states No Alert Sound, then you are not going to get a sound, although you should get a notification in the Alert Manager.
