Hi, I am in love with your bid/ask stacking and pulling column. I found for scalping and short term entry 20 levels is great and I can see it even on fast sec/tick/renko zoomed in chart. I also want to see 40 levels on a longer term chart such as 20,000 trade or 30 min chart. I can't seem to accomplish this, is it possible? Are there different settings in sub instances and so is this how to do this? My main problem with longer term global setting levels is I can't see SUM as they are off the screen and that's how I mainly use it as can be seen here. |

I can't seem to accomplish this, is it possible? Are there different settings in sub instances and so is this how to do this? The setting for the number of Pulling/Stacking levels is a Global setting, so you set it in the Chart DOM Settings, and it will apply to all charts in that instance. You can set this differently for different instances. So if you select File >> New Instance you can set the number of Pulling/Stacking levels to be different in that instance by changing the setting. Refer to the following for this setting: Global Trade Settings Windows: Maximum Bid/Ask Market Depth Pulling/Stacking Levels (Global Settings >> Chart DOM Settings >> Other >> Other Settings) My main problem with longer term global setting levels is I can't see SUM as they are off the screen and that's how I mainly use it as can be seen here.
You can view the sum of the Pulling/Stacking using the Numbers Bars Calculated Values 2 study. You could then use that to display the information anywhere on the chart using the Text Display for Study. Refer to the information at the following links: Numbers Bars: Displaying Numeric Information Below Numbers Bars Text Display For Study For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

It would be great to have the possibility to configure different options within a single instance. For example, applying P/S Stacking visibility levels through Global Settings -> Chart DOM Settings should affect all charts unless a different option is specifically configured under Trade -> Chart DOM Settings. This functionality would be highly beneficial. |

So if I want to show the pulling stacking columns for each market, I need to use multiple instances... which doesn't allow to use keyboard shortcuts like Re-center Trade DOM Scales or Clear Recent Bid/ask Volume - all symbols since it will only affect the DOM inside the instance selected. So it is always a dilema between being able to use these keyboard shortcuts or having the right value of levels of pulling stacking for each market. If it isn't too time consuming to code, would you considere putting this in the request list ? |
