Hi. Is it possible to do this? =concatenate(" \" " , "apple" , " \" ") to produce this string: "apple" where \ is the escape character? clearly \ is incorrect. I've also tried char(34), but I get a NAME? error. |

Support for double double-quotes will be included in the next version. This will allow the formula ="""apple""" result in the text "apple", because a pair of double-quotes ("") will be interpreted as a single double-quote (") like most other standard spreadsheet software.

This is great. So just to confirm, I'll be able to do something like: = CONCATENATE("","apple","") and the resulting value will be "apple" ? |

"" will result in an empty string. """ is an incomplete string because there is no closing quote. """" will result in a single double-quote (").
