Hello,

I am using "Number Bars Calculated Values 2" study. When chart is reloaded, historical data for Sum Bid pull/stack (SG7), Sum Ask pull/stack (SG8) and Ask/Bid pull/stack Sum Diff (SG9) is lost. You lose all data previous to chart reload.

Can you fix this? Can you make it so when chart is reloaded for any reason such as changing time frame or updating a chart study, pull/stack data is kept instead of simply showing zeros?

Thanks

Miguel

For now, this is the way it works. We do not know if we will ever be able to change how this works, as that would require the data to be stored, and it is not something that currently being kept.

Hello,
SC already stores Historical Market Depth if indicator has been added to chart. Stacking and Pulling is derived from Market Depth. It is possible all you need is the ability to recalculate stacking and pulling from Historical Market Depth data file stored locally.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi guys,

I have a related question which Ill ask in here.

I haven't changed anything on my chart and my Pull/Stack are all zero, they were working yeesterday and this happens often but the they will just come back later after a period of time.

Do I have a setting incorrect maybe?

thanks

When you first start Sierra Chart you need to have the Pulling/Stacking columns turned on for the chart. This forces the calculation of the Pulling/Stacking data that can be used by the Numbers Bars Calculated Values.

It is possible to then turn off the columns and the data will continue to be calculated, but if you exit from Sierra Chart and restart, then you will need to repeat the above process.

Additionally, there is no guarantee there is going to be any history for pulling and stacking columns on the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study.

If you reopen the Chartbook or reload the chart, the data is going to be lost. Even a recalculation may cause the data to be lost.
