Hi,

I use SC with IB for equities, since symbol format is different between each other I just thought if it is possible to define a single global new symbol with symbol patterns like
"~-NQTV"

and define its settings by assigning "~-STK-ISLAND-USD" for trade/quote symbol and do the similar for other fields like SC Data Symbol and Historical one. Then finally enabling "Use Pattern Matching" settings.

I thought this could provide me to automatically find a corresponding symbol with its IB correspondent, but that doesn't work.

1 - Is this possible?
2 - If not, is there any way either ready to use or a custom study to assign IB symbol value as "Trade/Quote Symbol" for any symbol I traverse with an Associated list.

1. We would have to do testing to see if this would work. We are not sure.

2. Yes you can set the Trade and Current Quote Symbol with this ACSIL variable:
ACSIL Interface Members - Variables and Arrays: sc.TradeAndCurrentQuoteSymbol

When we can. This involves detailed analysis and debugging. It is not something we can do right now.
