Hi John, Sierra Chart, This will be the final bit that I need before I will go live with my trading account at a future date and would appreciate some help why its not working. My configured DOM is study #5 and My configured Footprint study is #10 In my DOM window/study is do the following:- 1. Navigate to Chart>Chart Settings>Chart Drawings 2. Set Copy Chart Drawings From Chart#'s to 10 3. Hit OK Not seeing the footprint #10 merge and to the left of DOM, not sure why, are there other settings I need to achieve this. I had earlier using my footprint do Trade>Trading Chart DOM On and tried to configure the DOM using the same 1-1 mappings as my configured DOM but couldn't get this DOM configured to look like my DOM, hence why I am trying to achieve this using the 3 steps above. Kind Regards Stephen |

You can not overlay the Numbers Bars to a Trading DOM, nor can you really overlay drawings, as there is not a bar to bar mapping on the Trading DOM. Therefore, what exactly are you not able to replicate between the Chart DOM and the Trading DOM that you want that is not working? Or is it something else? Some images would be helpful - refer to the following: Support Board Posting Information: Attaching or Posting a Screenshot/Image (Optional) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi John, Okay understand cannot overlay Number bars to a trading DOM. I've attached a DOM to the footprint see image 1 and would like the DOM on the right side to look like the DOM I have configured image 2, but I think because image 1 has the footprint too then I cannot get the same DOM like in image 2? I have tried to change the Chart DOM settings to Trade DOM settings in Graphics settings. If I cannot achieve this is there a way I can use the Current Traded Bid Volume & Current Traded Ask Volume in Hidden Columns (Customise Chart/Trade DOM Columns) to refresh after price moves away and back a certain number ticks, rather than accumulating volume? Kind Regards Stephen |

First - make sure you are changing the correct graphics settings. There are both Global Graphics Settings and Chart Graphics Settings. A chart will use the Global Graphics Settings if you go to the Chart Graphics Settings and it has the option for Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings. Refer to the following: Graphics Settings: Using Different Color and Graphics Settings for Specific Charts Next - once you know which settings option to use (Global or Chart) then go to the section of settings that starts with Chart DOM.... These are the items you need to change in order to make updates to the Chart DOM. For example, if you want to change the Buy column to have a Dark Blue background with White Text, then change the following: - Chart DOM Buy Column Background (be sure Enable has a Checkmark): Change color to Dark Blue - Chart DOM Bid Depth Quantities: Change color to White (this option is always enabled, so you can not make that selection) Change the other colors as you desire. Play with the various options to find out what they affect (and what they do not affect). The information for all of these settings can be found starting here: Customizing Fonts, Colors, Line Styles, and Widths for Chart Trading, Chart DOM, and Trade DOM: Chart DOM Column Separator Lines For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi John, Thank you very much for your invaluable help. I will play around with the settings and see what happens. Just on the final note, is there a setting that just accumulates the bid/ask traded volume on DOM in Customise Chart/Trade DOM Columns and refreshes after a user defined tick range? Much appreciated your kind help. Stephen |

The Current Traded Bid/Ask columns accumulate the Bid/Ask traded volumes, but the only way to reset them is by selecting Trade >> Clear Current Traded Bid/Ask Volume. There is no support for having the columns cleared after a certain number of ticks.

Stav, In addition to John's instructions above, you can also create a keyboard shortcut to clear the Current Traded Bid/Ask Volume. It will be much easier and faster to work with it. |

Hi Rui S,
I've done this:- Global Settings > Customise Keyboard Shortcuts > Trade > Clear Current Traded Bid/Ask Volume Ticked Ctrl Letter (none) then OK Hope it works. Stav Yes, that's it. That will work. If you want to improve it even more, you can assign one Control Bar Button with that same shortcut (Global Settings / Customize Control Bars). You can have several Control Bars and even a "floating" Control Bar if you wish. That way you can clear the Current Traded Bid/Ask Volume just with one single click instead of pressing two or three keys simultaneously. You can test it out with SC Replay. I hope this helps.
