A user developed a solution to access FRED data (https://fred.stlouisfed.org/) utilizing the DTC client/server functionality that Sierra Chart supports. Make sure you are running a current version of Sierra Chart and the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >>Current Selected Service in Sierra Chart needs to be set to SC Data-All Services. This is information they provided us and we are reposting it. Steps to get working solution: 1. Download SomeDataProvider.DtcProtocolServer from https://github.com/nikolaybobrovskiy/SomeDataProvider/releases/download/v1.0.0/SomeDataProvider.DtcProtocolServer.zip 2. Unzip it to some folder of your choice. 3. After unzip you will find appsettings.json file with StoresOptions.Fred.ApiKey section. You need to get own FRED API key and put it to the settings file. Follow this link to get FRED API key: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/docs/api/api_key.html 4. You need to have latest Sierra Chart version installed and symbol settings updated to be sure that FRED data symbol exists in symbols list (it is listed as "fred-~"). 5. Run SomeDataProvider.DtcProtocolServer.exe 6. Now you can add a chart with FRED data via Find Symbol. For example: fred-T5YIFR.
