We do not know if these are too old, or perhaps they are corrupted, but we are not able to open these in version 2204, which is the oldest available version we have. you are correct, I think those were too old of templates. I found the relevant ones and I do not get the incompatible error anymore but I do not see anything in the charts. I notice the same issue with the ExampleChartbook. I can only see charts/candles for currencies and nothing else.

Open the Chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. If you are using a difference service than what you were when you originally created those chartbooks, then the symbols need to be updated, which the above command will do for you.
