Help with Custom Symbol

Hello I am using the custom symbol function and I'm trying to use a formula to invert a symbol (JPY) but for some reason can't seem to pull up the historical data for it. As you can see in the screenshot, the original symbol (top chart) loads fine with all of the historical data, but when I create a custom formula to invert the symbol, it only pulls up the current day real time data (bottom chart). I've been trying for three days to pull up historical data for the custom symbol but I've had no luck. Any help is appreciated.
