I read in another post that its not possible to turn off the snap to center of candle function due to there not being any data between bars. Well im assuming thats the reason for the time range highlight study not falling on correct times set. for instance, on a one minute bar chart, the extended hours highlight area wont stop at set time 9:30 open and will instead stop 30 seconds late. if using an hourly chart, its a lot bigger issue being a half hour off from the set time you need it to change color. Only solution ive found is to adjust the study's width/size to 2 which changes the solid transparent background to a bunch of vertical lines which isnt as nice looking but i could live with. Is there a simple solution to this or am i stuck with it? Im only on trial period so i havent had time to discover all the problems that might arise from "empty space between bars" thing but im sure i might come across a few more in time. the crosshair cursor snapping to center of bars can be frustrating at times. maybe thats how all platforms are and ive never noticed before
