I have been using a font called "SF Pro" as the main font of the system before
But when OpenGL acceleration is turned on, this font will be torn and misplaced, other fonts do not have this issue, so I want to replace this font
modifying the "Chart Text" value in the chart or global settings has no effect even if I modify all other font options
I still saw the string "SF Pro" in the Sierra4.config file after modifying the global settings
If I delete the "SF Pro" font,SC will automatically use the system default "Tamoha" font, save the settings and exit again Sierra4.config remains unchanged
The only way I can modify this font now is to use the registry (I uploaded this file)

Not sure why there is an issue. Something to be aware of, is individual charts can use their own font settings through their own Graphics Settings window:

this is indeed not a issue, it's just no one likes the registry
if can modify this value(pic1 and pic2), it will be better

If there are system registry changes you are making which are resolving the problem, then this is going to be strictly an operating system level issue.

There definitely is no problem, with font selection in Sierra Chart but what font you actually end up with after Sierra Chart creates the font object is controlled by the operating system. It can be a different font. The operating system will try to provide the closest matching font.

finally, because I really need to use "SF Pro" font in other places, I chosed to directly modify Sierra4.config through a hex file editor, and ignore the checksum error message to start sierrachart, just like the screenshots I attached to #3 post, if possible, can you explain why this font option is hidden? thank you
(it did work after the modification(Courier New font), I attached screenshots below)

It looks like you were not changing the correct font selection within Sierra Chart. The image you provided is from a Zig Zag study, which uses the "Global Chart Drawing Font". This particular font is selected in Tools >> Tool Settings >> General >> Global Chart Drawing Font. Refer to the following:
Chart Drawing Tools: Global Chart Drawing Font (Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Drawing Font)

We recommend that you restore the original Sierra4.config file, if you still have it, then change the font through the program.

If you do not have the Sierra4.config file, then we recommend restoring the most recent from the backups and then modifying the font through the program. Refer to the following for how to get a backup configuration file:
Resetting Sierra Chart to a Default State / Restoring Backup Global Configuration File: Restoring Backup Global Configuration File
