Hello, Similar to "Volume At Price Threshold Alert V2" I want to have a marker or color the entire bar (on the main price chart) when the "delta - ask volume bid volume difference" is =/> 200 or =/<-200 for the bar at its close. Not at one price, but for the whole bar. In the image, for example, I have a 750 volume HL bar chart, and below a 750 volume footprint. Above the FP candlestick bars are the delta for the bars at their close. If the delta is at least 200 I want e.g. a marker or to color the bar green. If the delta is up to -200 then I want a red marker/bar. Can someone explain please how this is done? I have explored sierra chart documentation and looked at "color bar based on above/below study" though could not get the required result. Many thanks in advance |

As you have done for the Numbers Bars chart, you need to use the Numbers Bars Calculated Values to get access to the Delta value that you want. Then you will use two copies of the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study and enter the following for your Alert condition for the + delta situation: = ID1.SG1 > 200 Where ID1 is the ID of the Numbers Bars Calculated Values Study (or other study that gets that data into the chart you want) and SG1 is the Subgraph for the delta from whatever study you are getting it from. The only change you would need to make to the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition is that on the Alert tab you will want to enable the option for Evaluate on Bar Close.
