[Programming Help] - Clion connecting to sierrachart.exe not triggering breakpoints

Hello, I usually develop in Clion but connecting to SC and setting breakpoints in studies does not trigger Clion. Other programs work with Clion. when I do the same with Visual Studio as described in the documentation, it works, could you please tell me if there is a reason? Is there a compile flag on sierracharts that prevents this from happening with Clion? I reached also out to Jetbrains but they confirmed all is correct what I'm doing and the reason is with Sierracharts. If there are other people using Clion and struggling with this please let me know. Thanks. |

We do not know the answer to this. The Sierra Chart executable is generated by the Visual C++ compiler.

Yes, you can share the Sierra Chart executable with them, but the individual file may not be enough. They should really just download our installer and install Sierra Chart, as it is "standalone" entity and does not tie into the operating system, so it is very clean. They will need an account to run Sierra Chart, but it does not need to be active for them to do basic things that they should need to do.
