Downloaded latest version 2458 Charts not loading (see attached pic). The screen says downloading contract (its actually not). Only when I "disconnect", then my charts load. I can then "Connect" and the charts download and I am live and everything is fine. There must be a something that was checked or unchecked. What do I need to do to have my charts load and live when I open my chart? Thanks |

Wait. There may be a lot of data to download. Yes, you are correct. I have "days to Load" at 90. All, except overnight were previously downloaded, so I figured it doesn't have to download more than overnight to bring it up to date. I did wait a bit, and they still didn't load. I thought I tested loading less, like 7 days and it didn't load Sunday night. But I closed my SC after changing to 7 days to load right now, and it did load upon opening. So knowing I already had the 89 days info, why wouldn't it load? Is there a pre-set number of days that wont load LIVE? Or are you saying if I waited long enough, they would've loaded (which confuses me bc I already have the 89 days of data in my file). Thx (btw, I did read the support info, but couldn't see anything applicable for the above reasons) |

We can not say exactly what occurred. We wonder if there may have been a change to the Continuous Futures Contract setting, which would have needed different data for different contracts if that was not set previously - so that would have been different data that needed to be downloaded. So I found several days in my 90 days loaded with missing data. So I thought I'd just do a EDIT/DOWNLOAD DATA to just get a clean download of data. I erased my data in my DATA file for ESU22_FUT_CME.scid and ESU23. I reconnected, but my chart only goes back to 12-12. Coincidentally, which is the rollover day. I thought, maybe its one of my settings. My Chart Settings is set to "Continuous Futures Contract-Volume based Rollover". Automatic Rollover Futures Symbol=NO. Then I thought, is it bc Im doing "Edit/Download Data Intraday Chart"? bc Im doing this after hours 6:11pm PST, so its historical? I now wish I left the data alone. But there must be a setting that is making it so I cant get data past ~10 days even though I have DAYS TO LOAD at 90. Ive since switched to 60, thinking 90s was right around the rollover from Z to U, but still only loads back to 12/12. Thx |
