Hellos SC Support team, I got this message today. I got about 60 lines of this same message:

CLG23-NYMEX[M]/MCLG23-NYMEX [CBV][M] Aligned Renko 15t #9 | Caught an unhandled exception in c_Chart::WindowProc. Message: 15, wParam: 0, lParam: 0 | 2022-12-19 07:11:10.396 *

Message appeared from 07:10:13.211 am to 07:11:10.396 am CT. After that functionality looks ok.

Do you know why this happened? Does it affect functionality in any way?
Please advice if you need me to send the Message Log or anything else.

Thank you!

Usually this is the result of a problem on the system related to graphics. This error is occurring when Sierra Chart is outputting graphics to the chart. When you encounter this you really need to restart Sierra Chart. Are you using OpenGL do you know?

Yes I'm using OpenGL, could that be the problem?
I got the error message a few more times all of them with Aligned Renko, I switched to Renko and haven't had any message. Could Aligned Renko be a problem or it's just a coincidence?

We do not see how this would be specific to Aligned Renko bars. Aligned Renko could not be causing an exception like this. This must be coincidental. But we could check your Chartbook to see if we can reproduce.

Attach the Chartbook following these instructions:

Disable OpenGL and see if you still have the problem. Can you tell us of the make and model of the graphics adapter you have.

My graphics adapter is an Intel Graphics 620 version 27.20.100.9664.
I've also attached the chartbook.

Thank you. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Should not be any trouble with an Intel graphics adapter. We will test the Chartbook.

We were not able to reproduce this but we did come across another exception issue when resetting the Child Windows in a chart and that is now fixed in the latest prerelease.
