I am having a problem getting consistent volume point of control data across multiple charts....I am using a 24 hour pnf chart using the volume value area studyfor 5 day period and a 30 min candle chart using a VP study for 5day period and the outcomes are astonishingly different...can you please advise... I am looking for the best way to get 5, 20, 90, and YTD volume point of control can you please advise

We are not certain what kind of chart you are using (Intraday or Historical), but there is a very big difference between them in terms of the underlying data to determine a Volume Point of Control from. Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: How Volume by Price is Calculated for Historical Daily and Higher Timeframe Charts Given the above, you would want to ensure that your charts are Intraday Only charts. From there you should be much better. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
