I'm using Rithmic data with Sierra charts. If I enter a market order I'm filled sometimes 20 ticks away from price, and during very slow markets, in the CL. Luckily Rithmic will read a much more accurate picture of what just happened, but the Sierra Dom is way off. WHY? I upgraded to latest version, seems better now, let's hope Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-05-27 20:05:10

It does not matter what version you are running. Updating SC will not change anything. If there is any change, it is only coincidental. Do you experience this when Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On is enabled? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. In sim mode it was working fine, but switching to my TST account it was giving me those way off fills on the DOM, although in Rithmic Trader it would show the fills being okay. But still it is very misleading by looking at the Sierra DOM. So when trade simulation mode is on, it seems fine, with Trade simulation disabled, it was not working. Any idea why?

It sounds like you are referring to the Position Average Price? Clear the Trade Activity Data for the symbol when you are flat by following the instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeActivityLog.php#ClearingtheLog Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I did clear the Trade Activity Data. Yesterday when I upgraded to new version possibly it did that for me as well. Main thing it seems ok now. WHEW. I was using the replay feature before this happened and possibly that data was not cleared. Note to self, manually clear data after using replay. Thank you very much for your assistance.

You definitely do not have to clear the Trade Activity Data after a replay. That will not help. Trade simulation data is separate from non-simulated trading data. We are not even quite sure what the problem was. It is hard for us to tell unless we could see exactly what you are seeing that did not look correct and examine the data in the Trade Activity Log. From our position here, we only have some vague information about this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
