Hello, my wife is about to start trading, can she use my account? - and if so, can she use Teton or Ironbeam with it if she did? All trades would be through either Teton or Ironbeam only. Asking now, before doing anything.

Officially, you are not supposed to share Sierra Chart accounts, but it is not something that we look for or do anything about. But, when we look at your account we see that you have the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed active. This data feed can only be used on a single computer at a time. So if you were to setup another computer for your wife to use and she is looking at stocks, then she would have to have her own Sierra Chart account in order to get that same data. Note that this issue is a little different with the Denali data (including our NASDAQ TotalView data), in that you can pay a second exchange fee in order to get the data to two different computers at the same time. But we assume that you are using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for the U.S. Equities for the consolidated tape, so this would not apply (just something to think about when we get the consolidated tape working with our Denali data). For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
