I am trying to move everything from my thinkorswim platform to here. The only thing I haven't been sure about is the hull setting. In thinkorswim I have it set to "Close." I dont see that option for the settings in SC. The closest thing is last is that the EXACT same? I need it to be exact not close. See the screen shot below. Thank you!

Actually I've been watching them side by side and "Last" for SC is not the same as close on tos. Do you know which one matches their "close"

You are correct on Last = Close. That is SC naming convention. You will also come to notice the difference in others calling them indicators -> SC calls them studies. I presume there are others. It all makes sense eventually... even for a slow old guy like me. hehehe Hope this helps, JohnR |

Look at my screen shots. This is the exact same spot for both plattforms. As you can see they're not the same. Any ideas? Picture 1 is SC 2 is TOS. I need this study to be identical and it clearly isn't. I really want to get the hell away from TOS please help!

The issue is not the Last versus Close. These mean the same thing. It sounds like there is just a difference in the way the Moving Average - Hull is calculated between the systems. We give our exact formulation in our documentation, which you will find here: Moving Average - Hull You may need to see if one of the other Moving Averages works closer to the TOS Hull Moving Average.
