I have read the easy method for connecting to Rithmic. Will I still have to purchase a service package to have access to the live data feed?

Yes, you need to have a paid service package in order to get any data into Sierra Chart or to send any trades from the system. Since you will be connecting to Rithmic, you will need to be on one of the Integrated Packages.
