Dear Sir or Madam: I have an account with InfinityFutures and I am currently a paid subscriber for Sierrachart trading platform. How can I backtest a trading strategy such as SMA50 cross above/below SMA200 will be long/short position and EMA15 cross above/below SMA50 will be entry/exit position? Thanks, Van |

This can be easily done by using the Spreadsheet System for Trading study: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php#GeneralInformation And then using the back testing feature: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Backtesting.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Or you could use ACSIL for this: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ACSILTrading.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
