I’m running multiple monitors with charts in each. I would like to switch off the monitors and when switched back on have the charts arranged as before switch off. Is there a way to easily accomplish this? Currently the charts all collapse and require individual selection to activate on each monitor upon switch on. |

Two possible things I can think of. I'm thinking #1 is the easiest to do. 1 - Create an additional chartgroup. I call my JOR_Blank. Do not put any charts in it. Save it, so it is there for you when you want. Then switch to this chartgroup before turning off your monitors. Once you turn your monitors back on, go to the control panel and switch back to the group with your charts. They will be where you left them. I added JOR_Blank chart group to my startup, so it is always waiting for me to use. You can also use it as a quick way to get all of your charts from your screen view if you want to do something else, or find a window hidden behind SC. 2 - In Windows you can use Win-Lock. With this locking procedure, you can also set the monitors to sleep (blank). I do this at the end of the day, so my monitors do not get burn in. I don't remember where I found steps for this, but if you google around you will find the steps you need to put this together. Hope this helps. |

Hi John, Thanks for the suggestions. I tried the option 1 as it seemed the most applicable. However, I’m finding that the charts all pop into one monitor on switch on. The charts have not returned to their original monitor locations as required. Perhaps some other monitor settings need configured and someone in the user group has come across this before?? |
